The IKON gallery in Birmingham, UK presents a collection of short essays written by their Director, Jonathan Watkins.
Together with Nuova Icona in Venice, IKON is organising this installation One Million Years (Reading) based on the work of Japanese artist, On Kawara. It is part of this year’s Venice Biennale.
These three short essays are concerned with; On Kawara as an artist and his work overall, with One Million Years, this installation in particular and with what the future might hold for IKON Icona.
This app has been built by the team at ARTiMBARC, a digital platform aiming to help cultural institutions improve visitor engagement.
